Logan Health's Cancer Program is looking for a Registered or Certified Medical Assistant to be part of their compassionate team!

This position will primarily support our Radiation Oncology team, but also may assist our Hematology/Oncology clinic as well.

  • Prepare patients for visits by reviewing medical histories, obtaining vital signs, and ensuring comfort and privacy.

  • Perform specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and medication administration as directed.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system.

  • Assist with care coordination, follow-up scheduling, and patient and family education.

What You Bring to the Table

Certification Required – Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential. (We are unable to accept a medical assistant trainee position. You must already have your RMA or CMA certification.)

Relevant Experience – Previous experience in palliative care, hospice, oncology, primary care, or another specialty clinic preferred.

Clinical Skills – Proficiency with vital signs, injections, specimen processing, point-of-care testing, and EMR documentation.

Compassion & Professionalism – Ability to provide calm, empathetic support while maintaining professionalism and respect.

Team Collaboration – Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, five 8-hour shifts per week.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
