Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 

Essential Functions Statement(s)

·         Field Support

o    Communicate with customers to coordinate field site visits and follow-up post site visit as needed.

o    Travel to job sites to start up and commission ClimaCool products.

o    Travel to job sites to assess the operation of previously started-up equipment

o    Issue well-written, accurate reports of trip findings and activities and completing required documentation in a timely manner.

o    Interface/interact as necessary with Field personnel, Rep agency, Engineering teams and customers during problem assessment and resolution

o    Provide on-site direction to personnel at job site locations when performing rework of product or setup of product

·         Product Knowledge

o    Knows and can explain ClimaCool product features/benefits.

·         Technical Skills

o    Understands fundamental HVAC concepts, including refrigeration and controls.

o    Can interpret equipment electrical drawings and diagrams.

o    Understands the field installation of chillers, water source heat pump equipment and accessories.

o    Can use a laptop and other technology to access documents, use service software, and complete reports.

·         Work Environment/Safety

o    Promotes mutual respect while maintaining compliance to regulatory, ordinance or code requirements, and company policies and programs.

o    Remains calm in tense situations

·         Phone Center Technical Support.

o    Support multiple product lines

o    Gather base information

o    Work through standard troubleshooting to arrive at issues or causes and work towards resolution.

Skills & Abilities

Education: AS/BS preferred or HVAC Trade school completion

 

Experience: Minimum 5 years HVAC and chiller experience (Commercial experience preferred)

 

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Certificates & Licenses: HVAC license preferred; EPA Section 608 Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification (required or attained within 90-days)

 

Other Requirements: The candidate must also be willing and able to travel domestically .
