Job Description

Job Title: Welding Team Member

Job Classification: Team Member

 

Position Summary

The Welding Team Member is responsible for safely and efficiently producing high-quality products by following work instructions and utilizing specialized tools.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Assembly & Handling: Safely assemble or handle units while maintaining quality and adhering to standard cycle times.

Equipment Operation: Operate welding and assembly equipment safely and effectively.

Team Collaboration: Support standardized work processes and contribute to team-oriented goals.

Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance processes.

Verification: Verify correct part numbers according to work instructions.

Ensure all previous parts are assembled and/or welded correctly before adding new parts.

5S Participation: Engage in 5S activities and maintain Tool & Jig Home Locations.

Compliance: Understand and comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.

Special Projects: Perform special projects as requested, related to job tasks.

 

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Basic competency in the English language.
  • Ability to read and follow specific work instructions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to frequent changes in business needs.
  • Must have Mig Welding expereince

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of MIG welding and/or assembly processes is preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous.

  • Ability to work in extreme hot or cold conditions.
  • Must be able to stand for the entire shift.

  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
