Senior Information Security Officer
how you will contribute
As a Senior Information Security officer you will be part of the transformation management team. This team is responsible for enabling the Global Randstad CISO Office to effectively drive security in Randstad at large. Supporting communication, monitoring and execution of global transformation plans set out in its data protection & information security strategy.
The key objectives for transformation management are
● Develop and maintain a short, mid and long term view for security posture improvement efforts for Randstad, in line with the business needs and the related threats
● Define and drive corrective measures small and large, to ensure Randstad’s alignment with information security policy and plans
● Monitor alignment with the data protection & information security strategy and plans, and prepare and in certain circumstances communicate updates to c-level, senior management and other stakeholders across the group in collaboration with the Global CISO.
what you will be doing
● Develop an understanding of business goals and reframe risk discussions in business terms
● Communicate and educate stakeholders on cybersecurity-related matters to align on requirements for the strategic initiatives
● Work with OpCos, IT functions and other stakeholders to implement Randstad’s information security strategy
● Drive continuous improvement in governance and ways of working in lock step with the larger Randstad organization
who you will work with
Transformation management ensures effective global alignment. You will work closely with colleagues in our own functions, but also with legal, compliance, risk, audit, architects and IT delivery colleagues in Global IT and the OpCos to organize Randstad’s capability to effectively respond to any threats to Randstad.
As member of the Global Transformation management team, you will be reporting directly to the Global CISO.
role related competencies
● Able to prepare concise reports and presentations for senior management, including C-level
● 10+ years experience in Cyber Security and IT combined Risk and Audit functions of which at least 5 years within an global ‘international’ organization
● Proven practical knowledge of industry best practices from organizations such as International Standards Organization (ISO), Center for Internet Security (CIS) or National Institute of Standards (NIST)

● Good command of the English language
● Excellent analytical skills
● Ability to operate in a matrix organization
● Self-starting and self-supporting
● Ability to manage a team without direct reporting lines
● Hands-on
● Service-oriented
● Likes to work in an international environment with different cultures

● Enthusiastic and pragmatic, result driven
● Proficiency in other languages (helpful but not essential)
