Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Cloud Engineer to deploy, configure, and sustain a CloudOps platform within classified cloud environments. In this role, you will securely integrate the platform across AWS and/or Azure classified regions in alignment with federal compliance standards. You will also lead platform buildout and lifecycle management activities, including deployment, upgrades, patching, and Tier 3 escalation support. This position involves managing underlying infrastructure components such as Kubernetes, Helm, containerized services, associated databases, governance controls, policy enforcement, and FinOps controls while ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DoD SRG frameworks and supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) status. You will work in a secure environment supporting critical mission objectives.
Requirements:
- Must have the ability to deploy, configure, and sustain a CloudOps platform within classified cloud environments.
- Must possess the ability to securely integrate the platform across AWS and/or Azure classified regions in alignment with federal compliance standards.
- Must be capable of leading platform buildout and lifecycle management activities, including deployment, upgrades, patching, and Tier 3 escalation support.
- Must have the ability to manage underlying infrastructure components including Kubernetes, Helm, containerized services, and associated databases.
- Must possess the ability to implement governance controls, policy enforcement mechanisms, and FinOps controls aligned to mission requirements.
- Must be capable of ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DoD SRG frameworks and supporting and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) status in coordination with Government Authorizing Officials.
- Must have the ability to collaborate with the Delivery Manager to align technical execution with mission priorities while maintaining platform stability, security, and scalability.
- Working knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DoD SRG frameworks, with experience supporting or maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with program leadership and stakeholders to align technical execution with mission priorities while maintaining platform stability, security, and scalability.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
