Role Overview
The Maintenance Technician supports the reliability and performance of production equipment through proactive maintenance and timely repairs. This role is essential to minimizing downtime, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring a safe working environment. The position contributes to both daily operations and longer-term equipment improvements by partnering across teams and supporting new installations. Success requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
Diagnose and resolve equipment failures to support continuous production and reduce downtime
Document maintenance activities, test results, and issues in maintenance systems with accuracy
Support equipment installation, calibration, and improvement projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards and procedures
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
Ability to follow instructions, document work performed, and work effectively in a team
Preferred Qualifications
Technical certification or vocational training in a maintenance-related discipline
Experience with maintenance management systems and basic computer applications
Exposure to welding, PLCs, or advanced troubleshooting techniques
Experience supporting equipment installation, calibration, or continuous improvement initiatives
