St. Benedict Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, energetic, and dedicated Grade 4 teacher to teach English Language Arts and Science for the 2026�2027 school year. The ideal candidate will foster academic excellence, support the spiritual growth of students, and create a classroom environment that is engaging, structured, and student-centered.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with faculty and families to support the mission of Catholic education while helping students grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Responsibilities

• Teach Grade 4 English Language Arts and Science curriculum aligned to Ohio standards
• Create engaging, differentiated lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
• Foster strong reading, writing, critical thinking, and inquiry-based learning skills
• Maintain a positive, organized, and structured classroom environment
• Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and interactions
• Utilize assessment data to guide instruction and monitor student progress
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and school staff
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and intervention staff
• Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities
• Support the mission and vision of St. Benedict Catholic School

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Valid Ohio teaching license or ability to obtain licensure
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Commitment to Catholic education and student-centered learning
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
• Experience with elementary literacy instruction preferred
