Job Summary
The Admissions Evaluator performs assessments of applicants for admissibility and renders admissions decisions and performs the necessary data entry related to admission evaluation. The evaluator is responsible for posting transfer credits.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
requirements set by the state Institutions of Higher Learning Board to
evaluate applicants for admissibility and render admissions decisions.
policies to analyze former students for readmission to the university and
render readmission decisions and performs the necessary data entry.
submitted coursework, credits, and examinations for undergraduate students
and articulates coursework to student’s university degree plan.
parents as needed regarding admissibility and university enrollment.
admissions-related functions for orientation participants, including but
not limited to: communicating missing information to registrants, ensuring
accuracy of data, and monitoring admissions statuses of all registrants.
admissions and recruitment events, answering Admissions phone lines, and
other duties as assigned.
Associates degree in business education or related from an accredited college or university and two years experience in admissions related functions in higher education.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Slate.
