At Polar Field Services (PFS), we support construction and operations in some of the most extreme environments on earth-including work tied to the National Science Foundation Arctic program with Battelle.
We're looking for a Construction Operations Manager who owns projects end-to-end-schedule, cost, quality, and team performance.
This is not a hands-on role. It's about leading the work, solving problems, and delivering in complex, high-accountability environments.
What You'll Do
- Lead construction projects from planning through closeout
- Manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
- Identify risks early and drive solutions
- Lead a small, high-impact team
- Coordinate across clients, engineers, and vendors
- Support proposals, estimating, and company growth
What You Bring
- 10+ years construction management experience
- Proven ownership of projects, budgets, and schedules
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and contracts
Bonus: federal contracting, remote/austere environments, Primavera P6, OSHA 30, PMP/CCM
Why PFS
- 100% employee-owned (ESOP)
- People-first culture with real accountability
- Work that's meaningful, complex, and never boring
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
If you're someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and delivers-especially when it's not easy, you should apply!
