Description

Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, this position will work on projects that range from machine troubleshooting to improving production and office processes. The Manufacturing Engineer is self-motivated and can work efficiently with minimal direction and still meet deadlines.   

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field
  • 3 – 5 years of related work experience; or
  • An equivalent amount of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and to speak effectively before groups of employees.
  • Possess basic math skills, such as the ability to calculate figures such as percentages, proportions, and fractions, draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees or managers.
  • Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift as necessary for data collection or training.
  • Strong data analysis and spreadsheet skills required.
  • Functional knowledge of power tool use and simple fabrication tasks
  • Mechanical knowledge and technical drawing skills preferred.
