Position Overview



The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal components to specification. This role requires a strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.





Essential Functions




  • Set up and operate hydraulic press brake equipment for routine and complex jobs

  • Perform CNC programming, including loading, editing, and creating programs to meet specifications

  • Select and install appropriate tooling based on setup documentation

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings

  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met

  • Maintain production efficiency while meeting time and quality expectations

  • Accurately track time and production data in the system

  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts

  • Troubleshoot basic equipment or production issues and escalate as needed

  • Document production, material, and quality concerns

  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and support preventative maintenance efforts

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and uphold safety standards
