Reports to: GM, Omnichannel Fulfillment

 

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of warehouse operations across Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Business-to-Business (B2B), and Southern Hobby Distribution (SHD). Reporting to the GM, Omnichannel Fulfillment, this role ensures consistent, high-quality execution across all outbound channels by leading supervisors, managing daily throughput, and driving operational discipline.

 

This is a hands-on, execution-focused leadership role accountable for delivering on service levels, productivity, and operational efficiency in a high-volume distribution environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations Execution

  • Lead day-to-day warehouse operations across D2C, B2B, and SHD distribution
  • Leads daily operational cadence, including shift kickoff, priority alignment, and performance review.
  • Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
  • Manage daily priorities based on volume, backlog, and service level requirements
  • Accountable for inventory accuracy, inbound flow, and alignment between receiving and fulfillment.
  • Monitor workflow across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping

Team Leadership & Accountability

  • Directly manage 3 Warehouse Supervisors, each responsible for core functional areas
  • Drive accountability for performance, attendance, and adherence to SOPs
  • Coach and develop supervisors to effectively lead frontline teams
  • Support labor planning, staffing, and scheduling to meet demand

Performance & Throughput Management

  • Own daily KPIs: order accuracy, on-time shipping, productivity, and backlog
  • Identify bottlenecks and take immediate corrective action to maintain flow
  • Drive continuous improvement through practical, process-level enhancements
  • Provide regular operational updates and insights to the GM

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Ensure alignment between inbound inventory and outbound fulfillment priorities
  • Support execution of system/process improvements (WMS, ERP, automation initiatives)

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a compliant warehouse environment
  • Ensure operational standards are consistently followed across all teams

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, including frontline leadership
  • Experience managing supervisors or team leads in a high-volume fulfillment environment
  • Strong understanding of D2C and B2B operations
  • Experience with WMS and inventory control systems
  • Proven ability to execute under pressure and manage competing priorities
