Trustbridge Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated RN who will work closely with Care Center Leadership and frontline clinical teams to support daily operations, mentor newly licensed RNs, and promote excellence in hospice care. You’ll serve as both a clinical resource and a trusted partner—helping nurses build confidence, competency, and comfort in caring for patients at the end of life. The shift is as follows: 3 days 7am - 7:30pm and one 4-hour shift and every other weekend

What you'll Do
- Collaborate with the Care Center Leadership Team to support daily Care Center operations and clinical excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external regulatory requirements, promoting safe and high-quality care.
- Partner with the ODL team to coach and mentor newly licensed RNs (Nurse Residents), using bedside teaching and real-time feedback to support their professional growth.
- Conduct documentation reviews, investigations, chart monitoring, and data collection, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist with hands-on nursing responsibilities, including updating plans of care, medication administration, and other clinical duties as needed.
- Serve as a clinical resource and subject matter expert to Trustbridge staff and leadership, supporting best practices and continuous learning.
What You'll Need
- Registered Nurse (RN) degree from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and/or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) preferred.
- Currently licensed and registered as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Hospice Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years LTC, hospital, home health or hospice experience.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical aspects of patient care and compliance principles; working knowledge of process improvement methodology and tools.
- Compassionate, caring, courteous and respectful attitude.
- Self-motivated, efficient
- Experience with Homecare Homebase software a plus.
- Strong computer skills required, including proficiency with clinical documentation systems.
- Ability to work effectively under stress and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
