    TITLE: Food Service Monitors

     

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    * High School Diploma/GED equivalent required. Must have the ability to read, write and follow written instructions.

     

    * Must meet health regulations which include an annual tuberculosis test.

     

    * Must be of good moral character.

     

    * Must be physically able to do the job.

     

    * Must be able to work cooperatively with others and especially with children.

     

    * Knowledge of cafeteria procedures desirable.

     

    * Health examination for new employees part-time or full-time:

     

    * Chapter 122 Article 24-5 of the Illinois School Code mandates that School boards shall require of new employees evidence of physical fitness to perform duties assigned and freedom from communicable disease, including tuberculosis. Such evidence shall consist of a physical examination and a tuberculin skin test and, if appropriate an x-ray. The cost of such examination shall rest with the employee.

    Principal

     

     

     

    JOB GOAL:

     

    To serve the students and staff in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.

     

     

     

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    * Performs a variety of tasks which will be designated and scheduled by the Principal. Tasks may include cleaning, clerical tasks, inside or outside supervision of students.

     

    * Serves students and staff from the lunch area dissemination point.

     

    * Assumes responsibility for the orderly serving of food and clean-up as needed.

     

    * Cleans tables, counters, and furnishings in the lunch area.

     

    * Conducts himself/herself in an appropriate manner at all times when interacting with students, parents, or staff.

     

    * Performs other assigned duties.

     

     

     

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

     

    Works the approved school calendar on a full or part-time basis as determined by the Principal. Based on the Superintendent’s recommendation, the Board of Education will approve salary.

     

     

     

    EVALUATION:

     

    Evaluated by the Principal.
