- Work with students at all phases of the writing process, such as brainstorming, clustering, read arounds, revisions, and editing.
- Communicate regularly with the Orchestra coordinator/teacher regarding student progress and areas of concern and confer with the teacher about future tutorial plans.
- Assure that students complete work in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain rapport with students, while upholding the tone and atmosphere of the classroom set by the elective teacher(s).
- Set an example of personal excellence and high expectation for all orchestra students to follow.
- Participate in all required trainings, professional development sessions, and meetings.
- Adhere to district/site policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Orchestra teacher.
- Preferred college student (or college graduate) with a minimum of 2.5 GPA.
- Must have a strong orchestra background, evidenced by college transcript.
- Effective communicative skills with students and adults.
