Job Description

AeroTEC provides comprehensive, full-service aerospace services and solutions to customers in aircraft design, testing, instrumentation, certification, manufacturing, modifications and maintenance with facilities in Seattle, Moses Lake, and Wichita.



AeroTEC’s AC & Test Site Ops Department provides operational and facility requirements to support Fabrication, Aircraft Maintenance, Quality, Flight Test Instrumentation Installation & removal, and site safety (EH&S/SMS). The AC & Test Site Ops Division is responsible for providing resources and facilities for aircraft maintenance, quality, manufacturing, instrumentation installation and equipment to support customer requirements.



The Aerospace Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and repairing precision aerospace components and structures according to engineering drawings, specifications, and strict quality standards. This role requires high attention to detail, technical skill, and compliance with aerospace safety and regulatory requirements.



 



Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):




  • Fabricate aerospace components using metals, composites, and alloys.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

  • Cut, form, machine, drill, and assemble parts to precise tolerances.

  • Operate fabrication equipment such as presses, brakes, saws, CNC machines, and hand tools.

  • Perform riveting, bonding, fastening, and fitting of aerospace assemblies.

  • Inspect completed parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.

  • Maintain documentation for work performed per aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100).

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

  • Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and production teams.

  • Identify and report defects, deviations, or process improvements.
