The Parts Professional will be supporting the customer by assisting them find the parts they need to keep their equipment running while also supporting the work of other departments in the dealership. Their purpose is to continue learning the business and gain the knowledge and experience necessary to work within the framework of the Parallel Ag business model.
Essential Functions:
- Offering legendary customer service to customers
- Sell product and/or services to repair the problem and meet the customer's needs
- Assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly
- Fills and prepares orders, via phone or in person, for shipment or for customer pickup
- Provide service technicians with parts as required
- Check open tickets on a regular basis
- Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain team environment
Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communications
- Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, vendors and customers
- Ability to professionally manage difficult customer situations
- Parts experience in agriculture preferred
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and climb stairs
- Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
- Computer literate
- Extended period sitting at a desk
- Dedication, self-motivation, energetic with strong work ethic
- Detail oriented
