Electrical Inside Sales Representative – Industrial & Contractor Sales

We are seeking an Industrial Electrical Inside Sales Representative to join our Columbus team. In this role, you will collaborate with customers, vendor partners, and outside sales professionals to provide product expertise, responsive service, and solutions that help drive success across every partnership.



This position is ideal for professionals with experience in electrical distribution, industrial supply, automation, or inside sales, as well as motivated early-career sales professionals looking to build a long-term career in the industrial technology sector.



Compensation



Base Salary: $50,000 – $73,500 depending on experience

Average Annual Commission: $2,500 – $5,000



Total Compensation Potential: $52,500 – $78,500+



What You’ll Do



As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play an important role in supporting customers, strengthening vendor partnerships, and contributing to the success of the McNaughton-McKay team.



Key responsibilities include:




  • Serving as a primary point of contact for customer accounts, providing product guidance, pricing, and order support

  • Preparing quotes and managing customer orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery

  • Supporting outside sales representatives with customer opportunities and project coordination

  • Sourcing non-stock products and collaborating with vendor partners and purchasing teams

  • Tracking open orders and expediting shipments to meet customer timelines

  • Providing product information and technical support for industrial electrical and automation solutions

  • Identifying opportunities to recommend additional products or solutions that support customer operations

  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver a consistent and dependable customer experience

Industry experience is preferred, but not required. Training is available for the selected candidate.
