Summary/Objective
The Blaster is responsible for handling blasting operations for the organization.
Essential Functions

- Will be responsible for unloading all incoming steel from flatbed trucks/trailer with overhead crane.
- Must have the ability to correctly use a tape measure.
- Safe forklift operation or willing and able to be trained to safely operate a forklift.
- Must identify, store, stack, organize and stage product.
- Supply materials to various workstations throughout the plant as necessary such as robotic welders, and other areas of the Scale Shop, and building 15/17.
- Clean steel using blasting system.
- Must be able to work from a pic list and determine priority regarding where parts are needed.
- Responsible for machine OPM’s.

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Two (2) years of factory/manufacturing experience with blaster or similar equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1st shift- 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 2nd shift- 3:30 p.m. to midnight., 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
