Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, with a strong focus on tequila, mezcal, margaritas, and Mexican-inspired cocktails
- Deliver outstanding guest service with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Engage guests with menu knowledge, cocktail recommendations, and brand storytelling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, tools, and workstations
- Accurately ring in orders using the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure compliance with Florida alcohol laws and hotel policies
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and hotel teams to ensure seamless service
- Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and inventory counts
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Support special events, high-volume service periods, and hotel-driven activations
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and Mexican spirits (tequila & mezcal preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive during high-energy service periods
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications (or ability to obtain)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Manual dexterity to handle bar tools, glassware, and beverage preparation
- Comfortable working indoors and in oceanfront environments
