Millwright Project Manager
CL Construction is seeking a Millwright Project Manager to manage millwright construction projects from initial bid through final completion. This role is responsible for identifying new work, estimating, planning, budgeting, execution, and closeout of multiple projects.
You’ll work closely with field leadership, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on or below budget.
What You’ll Do
Identify and estimate new millwright project opportunities.
Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to prepare accurate bids and cost estimates.
Coordinate pricing with vendors and subcontractors and verify material availability.
Develop preliminary schedules and project plans to support bids and execution.
Secure materials, subcontractors, and finalize budgets once projects are awarded.
Partner with superintendents and field leadership to launch and execute projects successfully.
Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and safety compliance through regular site visits.
Track costs, forecast outcomes, and manage change orders.
Maintain clear communication with customers regarding progress, schedule, and cost impacts.
Lead project meetings and support field teams to drive successful outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
3–5 years of experience in construction project management or coordination (millwright, industrial, or agricultural preferred).
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multiple active projects.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite safety practices.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction-related software.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred:
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
Prior millwright or industrial construction experience.
