Job Status: Per Diem (Non-Exempt / Hourly)/ 8-16 hours per week (exact schedule TBD)

Compensation: $60-$75 per hour

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Provide physical examinations including Health history evaluation / assessment / review.
  • Provide medical treatment of urges and cravings including the medical treatment of physical health conditions.
  • Provide management of medical needs, including medication management and monitoring.
  • Assess the need and management of medication assisted treatment for substance.
  • Provide care through diagnosis, clinical judgment, and management.
  • Complete and obtaining pre-authorizations.
  • Makes referrals to outside care/facilities or orders diagnostic/laboratory tests,
  • Collects, interprets and documents test results for patients.
  • Reviews pre-admission referral reports to assist in determining appropriateness for residential treatment.
  • Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed medical or physical regimens, medications, health maintenance, and addiction treatment.
  • Work with the medical and counseling staff in providing physical health care, and substance use disorder treatment.
  • Provides on call support for after hour situations that may occur.
  • Provides educational presentations for staff and patients as needed.
  • Maintain documentation as per OASAS standards and Hope House policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
