Athletics Ticketing Coordinator
Xavier University, a member of the BIG EAST Conference, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Ticketing Coordinator, which will serve an integral role in the operations of the ticket department.
This is an hourly position and will focus on the management and execution of ticket operational tasks such as training of student workers, scheduling workers for all events, processing of orders and other general office tasks as needed. Other duties will include assisting the department with gameday box office support, coordinating sales and service for customers, e-mail communications, and collaborating and supporting other department initiatives including fundraising and hospitality efforts. The position will be required to work in the office as well as at athletic events.
Qualifications include:
- 1+ year of experience in a collegiate ticket department or related field
- Professional, results-oriented self-starter who takes initiative to solve problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency with Paciolan ticketing and Eloqua marketing automation systems is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sports management or a related field is preferred
Employment Term Start Date: Beginning no earlier than August 1, 2026.
This is a 10-month position for 1 year with the mutual option for a possible 2nd year. Evening, weekend and holiday hours will be required and schedule may vary. There are no benefits attached to this position. This position will work no more than 25 hours per week from August through May.
Compensation
Hourly rate of $15/hour.
