Description

 Trail in Como is seeking an experienced Welder to join the Production Team. Welders are responsible for cutting, fitting, and welding to ensure the quality production of Trailers and/or Parts.

 

Welder Responsibilities:

 

Welds according to all appropriate codes and procedures

 

Cutting, fitting, and use of appropriate tools

 

Ensures work order accuracy

 

Monitors quality of production using appropriate tools

 

Checks welding process to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking,

 

distortion or expansion of material

 

Adheres to quality and safety standards at all times

 

Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

 

Experience MIG Welding in a manufacturing environment

 

Experience MIG Welding Trailers and/or Trailer Parts is preferred

 

Proficient in the use of Tools and Measuring Equipment such as Tape

 

Measure and Speed Square

 

Proficient in the use of power tools such as an angle grinder or die grinder

 

Ability to multi-task in a manufacturing environment

 

Ability to Work well in a Team oriented environment or individually

 

The Welder generally works from 6am-3pm M-Thurs and 6am-12pm on Friday. When working overtime, you can expect to work from 6am-4pm M-Thurs, 6am- 3pm Friday, and 6am-12pm Saturday.
