Responsibilities:

What You'll Do? 

Responsible for performing professional-level accounting duties, abiding by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Compile the information needed to prepare entries for company accounts, such as the general ledger.
  • Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines: established accounting control procedures through an accounting system or software program.
  • Performs reconciliations, follows up, and resolves any discrepancies or irregularities they find in records, statements, or documented transactions.
  • Performs complex research in the General Ledger.
  • Document business financial transactions over time.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
  • Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for the auditor. 
  • Compile the information needed to prepare entries for company accounts, such as the general ledger.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.


Qualifications:

Education & Credentials 

BA degree in accounting or related fields

 

Experience: 

3-5 years’ Accounting experience. The ideal candidate must have systems experience preferably in Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, reconciliations and exchange rates calculations.

 

Technical Skills: 

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Access, Outlook and Word.  Advanced proficiency with financial analysis and accounting software (ERP’s) and tools.
