Position Summary
The Foam Room Operator is a key member of a three‑person
production team responsible for foaming the cores of our Traffic Doors in a
manufacturing environment. This role is physical, fast‑paced, and requires a
strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. The operator will run foam
presses, handle a foam gun, and follow established procedures to ensure
consistent and high‑quality product output.
Key Responsibilities
Operate
foam presses and foam gun equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare
doors for the foaming process according to production specifications.
Monitor
machinery, gauges, and material flow to ensure proper operation.
Perform
visual and dimensional inspections to maintain quality standards.
Follow
all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective
equipment (PPE).
Keep
work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Collaborate
with team members to meet daily production goals.
Document
production data, material usage, and any equipment issues.
Assist
with routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
Previous
experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
Ability
to work in a physical role, including lifting, bending, and standing for
extended periods.
Strong
attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
Reliable
attendance and ability to work a consistent 40‑hour workweek.
Ability
to follow written and verbal instructions.
Team‑oriented
attitude with strong communication skills.
Work Environment
Industrial
manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and moving
machinery.
PPE
required (training provided).
Work
performed as part of a small operational team.
