Ford Dealership | Full-Time Leadership Role



We are seeking a high-performing, detail-oriented Automotive Sales Manager to join our Ford dealership leadership team. This role is responsible for actively driving business online, managing digital lead flow, and working deals as a customer-facing, hands-on Sales Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.



This position requires a disciplined operator with strong attention to detail, excellent phone and communication skills, and a proven ability to convert digital opportunities into showroom traffic and closed deals.



Position Overview

The Sales Manager will lead online and showroom sales efforts with a hands-on approach, directly engaging customers via phone, text, and digital channels to drive appointments and showroom visits. This role requires active involvement in the sales process—from first contact through delivery—ensuring consistent execution, accountability, and performance.



Key Responsibilities




  • Actively drive online business through CRM engagement, digital retail platforms, and direct phone communication

  • Convert internet leads into confirmed appointments and showroom visits through strong follow-up and phone skills

  • Work deals as a hands-on, customer-facing Sales Manager

  • Desk and structure deals to maximize profitability and efficiency

  • Ensure all deal documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant

  • Maintain strong communication with lenders and internal teams to ensure smooth deal flow

  • Monitor sales performance, gross, and inventory turn objectives

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through delivery

  • Maintain strict attention to detail across all aspects of the sales and deal process



Required Systems Experience

Proficiency with the following platforms is strongly preferred:




  • DealerTrack DMS

  • RouteOne

  • VinSolutions CRM

  • vAuto inventory management

  • Dealer DMV processing

  • Darwin Automotive (preferred)

  • FMC Dealer (Ford systems)



Qualifications




  • Minimum 5 years of automotive sales management experience

  • Ford dealership experience is a must

  • Proven success driving digital lead conversion and showroom traffic

  • Strong phone skills with the ability to build rapport and set solid appointments

  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and digital retail platforms

  • Exceptional attention to detail and operational accuracy

  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills

  • Process-driven with high accountability and execution discipline
