Position:  ELA Teacher

Location:  Oakridge High School

Qualifications:          

·         A Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education. 

·         A valid Secondary Michigan Certificate as a teacher in the State of Michigan with an English

·         (BA) or Language Arts (BX) endorsement.

·         Recent teaching experience at or near level in subject being applied for is desirable

·         Demonstrated success as a collaborator and proven team player

·         Knowledge of the “workshop” format of instruction preferred

·         Demonstrated knowledge of teaching to multiple intelligences

·         Demonstrated successful communication skills with students, staff, administrators, parents, and community

·         Demonstrated successful experience utilizing technology

·         Demonstrated knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grade Level Content Expectations and application in the classroom.
