Responsibilities included:
-Classes to include:
-2 concert ensembles (auditioned by level)
-Percussion/Color Guard Class (assisted by staff during the season)
-Instrumental Music (non band elective)
-Marching Band (fall sem) Wind Ensemble (spring sem)
-2 week band camp before school starts*
*Evening rehearsals (Marching Band/Wind Ensemble class period)
*Friday Night Football and Saturday rehearsals/competitions during the Marching Band and Indoor season*
*Oversee Drumline and Color Guard (Fall Marching Band and Winter) programs
*Recruit and manage additional staffing for Marching Band, Winter Drumline, & Winter Color Guard
*Collaborate with Middle School Band programs
*Maintain instrument/equipment inventory
*Work closely with highly active band boosters
*Manage site funding and grant budgets for the band program
*Organize and execute recruitment events during the year

*Note- Additional compensation approved on Co-Curricular Activities Group 1 Stipend for Marching Band Director (Fall Semester) and Concert Band Director (Spring Semester) - Total pay $5,751.30 per year

Placement on the CUSD 185 Certificated Salary Schedule is based on verified experience and district policy, with a maximum initial placement of Step 11 for full-time experience as a Teacher under a valid Single Subject credential. Plus Group 1 Stipend
