Job
Summary

We are looking for a
motivated Technical Support Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of
experience
and a background in Computer Science, Computer
Science Engineering, or a related field
. This role will support US-based customers, so excellent English communication
skills
are essential
.

 

The ideal candidate is
technically curious, customer-focused, and eager to grow in a fast-paced,
collaborative environment.

 

Key
Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to US customers via
    phone, email, and ticketing systems

  • Troubleshoot basic to intermediate technical issues
    related to software, systems, or applications

  • Clearly document customer issues, resolutions, and
    follow-ups

  • Communicate technical concepts in a clear,
    professional, and customer-friendly manner

  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when
    required

  • Follow support processes, SLAs, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with internal technical and customer
    success teams

  • Continuously learn new tools, systems, and
    technologies used by the company

 



Requirements

Required
Qualifications

 

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a technical
    support, IT support, help desk, or similar role

  • Educational background in:
  • Computer Science
  • Computer Science Engineering
  • Information Technology or related discipline
  • Bilingual: Spanish & English
  • Very strong English communication skills (spoken and
    written)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Basic understanding of:
  • Operating systems (Windows/Linux/macOS – basic level)
  • Networking fundamentals (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Software applications and troubleshooting concepts
  • Comfortable working US Eastern Time hours
  • Ability to work on-site from the Colombia
    office (El Poblado area)

 

Nice
to Have

 

  • Experience supporting international or US-based
    customers

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (Zendesk, Jira,
    Freshdesk, etc.)

  • Basic scripting or programming knowledge
  • Exposure to cloud platforms or SaaS products
