Assistant Supervisor

• RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Include, but are not limited to, perform basic general and preventative maintenance on-site company equipment and machines. Develop and implement Action Plans and Key Performance initiatives to meet annual budget, Operating Plan, Balanced Scorecard, and Agristat’s metrics.

• Supervises the installation of new state of the art processing equipment
• Responsible for the safety and health of employees, which includes but is not limited to, safety and health awareness and training, accident prevention and incident investigations, and safe work practices.
• Supervises the repair of existing poultry processing equipment and machinery.
• Directly supervises and develops hourly employees who have potential skills in the upkeep of all poultry processing equipment.
• Responsible for safety and loss prevention of mechanical employees working on routine mechanical jobs and installation of new equipment.
• Provides expertise as requested to mechanical aspects of equipment repair and installation at the facility.
• Trouble shoots electrical and mechanical situations as requested to minimize process downtime.
• Works with prospective contractors and site contractors on the aspects of new equipment purchase and installation.
• All other related duties as assigned.
• Job is a 9 hour shift with every Saturday required.
• Stay in constant communication with all maintenance and production management.
