POSITION SUMMARY: Repairs, reconditions, services and assembles equipment for the company and its customers. Performs work in an efficient and accurate manner to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

1. Recondition, repair, assemble and service equipment as assigned by the service manager.


2. Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed.


3. Perform any inspections as required.


4. Keep service manager informed on special parts orders, shortages and malfunctions.


5. Maintain a current knowledge of products, technology and models.


6. Help maintain cleanliness, neatness and safety of building and lot.


7. Keep shop vehicles clean and serviced.


8. Participate in special programs, such as sales of service packages, demonstration programs, etc.


9. Help control expenses and produce as much quality work as possible.


10. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times


11. Perform other duties as assigned.
