Job Summary

This role plays a critical role in advancing our mission by attracting, hiring, and engaging exceptional talent who are passionate about caring for children and families. This role is responsible for full‑cycle recruiting across clinical and non‑clinical positions while also supporting employee engagement initiatives, hiring events, and community outreach activities that strengthen our culture and employment brand.

 

This individual brings a relationship‑focused, service‑oriented approach to recruiting and serves as a key ambassador for our mission, values, and commitment to our people.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting for clinical and non‑clinical roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer coordination.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, departmental culture, and position requirements to ensure strong candidate fit.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for hard‑to‑fill and mission‑critical roles.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our mission, values, and commitment to compassionate care.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment data to track progress, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.
  • Partner with CHRO and leader to determine offer to ensure internal equity.

Engagement, Events, & Employment Brand

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including onboarding activities (new employee orientation), recognition efforts, and culture‑building events.
  • Assist with planning and execution of hiring events, job fairs, campus recruiting, open houses, social media, and community outreach activities.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the organization at recruitment and engagement events, effectively communicating our mission, culture, and employee value proposition.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team on onboarding enhancements.
  • Support internal communications as needed to promote recruitment efforts, employee milestones, and engagement activities.
  • Serve on the MRJ Way committee

Collaboration & Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with hiring leaders, employees, and HR colleagues.
  • Partner with Human Resources and leadership teams to align recruiting and engagement efforts with organizational priorities.
  • Ensure recruiting and engagement practices are aligned with policies, employment laws, and healthcare compliance standards.

 

Patient Population Served:

Responsible for delivering services to patients with complex medical needs, including infants, children, and adolescents.

 

Education and Experience Required:

·       Bachelor’s degree required

·       Minimum 2 years’ experience in full life cycle recruiting required

·       Previous healthcare experience preferred

·       Ability to travel locally for career fairs

 

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience supporting or coordinating events, engagement initiatives, or onboarding activities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with candidates and employees. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities. Must be able to pay close attention to detail. Microsoft Outlook and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience required.
