Overview:

SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT - FARMING

 

LOCATION:              FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT - PREMIER

They will participate in the daily/monthly accounting tasks. The Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and contribute to the overall success of the department. What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Financial Analysis with increasingly responsible experience, required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and GAAP, required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, required.
  • Ability to analyze financial data.
  • Ability to identify/communicate issues as they arise.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate meaningful insights and analysis.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record.
  • Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen and background check.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Previous Ag/Cost Accounting or Public Accounting experience a plus.
  • Previous ERP software experience preferred.


Benefits:

Total Rewards:            $80,000 - $95,000 / YEAR

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
