Job Summary
Educational Research Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by majors and non-majors. Educational Research adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours [Two 3-hour courses] per semester. Typical courses focus on Foundations of Research, Introductory Statistics/data analytics, Survey Research, Measurement, and Program Evaluation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities  

  1. Instruction in traditional and online formats.
  2. Assessment of student learning outcomes.
  3. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. degree in disciplines related to Educational Psychology, Education, or other social sciences is required for teaching.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups of individuals.
  • Experience setting clear performance expectations and provision of meaningful feedback.
  • Ability to apply statistical concepts and research methods.
  • Experience with online learning platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated success in university teaching is preferred
