The Laser Operator fabricates parts from sheet metal using a computer-programmed laser and is responsible for production of parts in a timely manner. Quality is critical. All produced parts must meet or exceed customer expectations and specifications

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to locate and identify the correct raw materials prior to production run
• Ability to consistently produce parts which meet or exceed customer specifications by setting up the machine, and following blueprint/technical drawing instructions
• Attention to detail, and self-quality control by performing the first piece check and submitting it to quality assurance for inspection prior to running the entire job
• Production of quality parts, upkeep of individual production cards, and ability to follow process flow
