Bennett Thrasher LLP, ranked among the largest accounting firms in the US, is seeking a Marketing Intern to join our growing team. This role will support the firm’s marketing department across a variety of areas, including events, digital marketing, CRM, communications, collateral and more. The ideal candidate is a Junior or Senior in college, majoring in Marketing or another related degree. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with event planning functions in connection with networking events, seminars, sponsorships and other events.
- Maintains library of collateral materials, including headshots, biographies, marketing materials and related marketing pieces.
- Understand and administer customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Coordinates external directory listings and awards submissions.
- Posts updates to the firm’s website
- Performs research on clients and prospects, service lines, segment teams and occasional competitive intelligence
- Maintains editorial calendar and proofreads content.
- Manages sponsorship deliverables
- Posts and assists with content creation for Bennett Thrasher’s social media channels.
- Coordinates internal and external requests for marketing materials.
- Assists in preparing reports as needed
- Tracks results of various marketing activities (Web, Social Media, Events)
- Assists with the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns using the firm’s email marketing platform.
- Manage contact and email lists with up-to-date data and segmentation. Performs periodic data cleansing and updates client lists, professional organizations, etc.
- Assists with other marketing and business development projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working toward a bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or similar area.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Resourceful and motivated self-starter
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Positive attitude and eagerness to understand the firm’s business and clients
- Demonstrates reliability, maturity and a commitment to excellence
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects
