Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm

La Costa Glen is currently hiring a full time Transportation Supervisor. The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for organizing the timely and safe transporting of residents to various individual and group activities. The Transportation Supervisor must be comfortable with the computer, phone, organization of schedules and compliance paperwork.

What you will bring

Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor.

• Accepts all calls from residents for transportation requests, displaying good judgment and excellent telephone etiquette
• Arranges resident transportation in an accurate, timely, and concise manner, so as to fulfill as many resident requests as possible
• Schedules daily work assignments for drivers, assists with the supervision of drivers
• Maintains accurate records, reports, and documentation for vehicles. Maintains logs for CHP inspection
• Picks up and delivers residents to all activities in a prompt and courteous manner

Qualifications:

• Must possess or be willing to get a valid Commercial Drivers license, Class B, with Passenger Endorsement. Must have a good driving record.
• Must have administrative experience.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service skills
• General computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be able to interpret and follow map directions.
• High school education/GED. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
