Job Description

The Assisted Living Director (LPN or RN) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assisted living community, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for residents. This role involves managing staff, coordinating resident care, and fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Care Oversight

    • Ensure individualized care plans are developed and maintained for all residents.

    • Respond promptly to resident and family concerns.

    • Monitor health and wellness programs to promote resident independence and quality of life.

  • Regulatory Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to licensing requirements and safety standards.

    • Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and inspections.

  • Leadership & Management

    • Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and operational goals.

    • Supervise and support staff to deliver high-quality care and services.

    • Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Community Engagement

    • Promote a positive, welcoming environment within the community.

    • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and local organizations.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of leadership experience in assisted living setting required.

  • Current licensure as LPN or RN (required).

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong knowledge of state regulations and compliance standards.
