POSITION #109-EXC-04-26

Unified Head Soccer Coach                                            

Wenatchee High School

Stipend: $1,970-$3,344

*Stipends will be prorated on coaches availability to fulfill all coaching commitments

*Starts 2026-2027 Season


RESPONSIBILITIES:  Be the leader in the preparation of student athletes for meaningful athletic competition through instruction in the fundamental skills, strategies and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success and at the same time receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of good citizenship, pride of accomplishment, good sportsmanship, self-discipline, and self-confidence.  Applicant is expected to be a leader in molding students with Intellectual Disabilities with regular education students into a cohesive team. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Coaching experience at Middle/High School level preferred with a basic understanding of the sport.  Have experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and have strong communication skills.  Possess a current First Aid Card/CPR Card or complete a district approved athletic training/sports medicine course equivalent to the Red Cross first aid training or be enrolled in that type of a class.  A Washington State Patrol Criminal History Information Form is required by RCW 43.43.830 to be on file in the athletic office.  Applicants must be a high school graduate and at least 19 years of age and have a SPI Moral Character Supplement Form 4020b completed and on file.  Annually attend a blood-bourne pathogens training and attend a WIAA approved rules clinic for the sport being coached.  Understand and support the overall mission of Unified Sports.  Certified personnel preferred.
