Job Description

Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Shelf-Life/Disposal Specialist to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Performweekly and monthly analysis and verification of shelf-life material to support extension ofexpirationdatesin accordance withpublished standards. 
  • Identifystock discrepancies, improperly coded items, expired material, damaged stock, improper stowage, and labeling deficiencies. 
  • Verify properprocedures are being used for testing and extending shelf-life material. 
  • Support procurement and replenishment of shelf-life material with NMRLC Supply Division and other supporting entities. 
  • Review shelf-life maintenance procedures and report stock discrepancies. 
  • Perform reviews of shelf-life transaction records to ensure all documentation is completedcorrectly,and all applicable databases are updated accurately. 
  • Research medical alert and recall messages related to shelf-life material utilizing DMLSS or other military databases of record. 
  • Coordinate with Government personnel and affected work centers on product recalls and affected stock.
  • Perform re-warehousing of materialin accordance withGovernment stow plans. 
  • Support annual inventories, location surveys, physical inventories, material handling, and inventory reconciliation efforts. 
  • Perform Pick, Pack, Preserve, and Crate (PPP&C) operations for EXMEDS kitting and shipping. 
  • Pack and repack materialutilizingstandard packing methods and preservation techniques. 
  • Perform administrative duties, including word processing, data correction, file maintenance, spreadsheet updates, and database entries. 
  • Support turn-in of unserviceable shelf-life material, including review of disposal documentation and verification of material quantities prior to turn-in to DLA Disposition Services. 
  • Operate material handling equipment asrequired.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)

Experience

  • HighSchool Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Experiencein shelf-life management, warehouse operations, receiving, inventory management, and disposal processing. 
  • Experience working with general supply activities and warehouse stock rotation. 
  • Experience performing transaction record reviews and inventory reconciliation. 
  • Experience utilizing DMLSS or similar inventory systems preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Mustbe able tooperatevarious typesof material handling equipment. 
  • A valid driver’s license to drive stand-up and 4–6K forklifts. 
  • Ability to lift, move, and stage warehouse materialasrequired.

Clearance

  • Must be a United StatesCitizen
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation (minimumT-1/NACI)
