Job Description

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

As part of the extended Information Technology leadership team, Manager - Claims Solutions and Services is responsible for leading and coordinating the Salesforce Solutions Claims team, supporting both day‑to‑day operations and ongoing system enhancements. This role works closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between business strategies and technical solutions. It requires deep knowledge of claims and absence management systems, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore team members.
 

This role is a unique opportunity to assist our organization to transform from claim/case management mindset to a service-oriented organization establishing best standards, processes and procedures in off the shelf technology platform with modularized functions.
 

Business and IT Vision

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Claims, Customer Services, and Case Implementation teams to understand functional needs and deliver impactful solutions that drive business value.

  • Ability to translate complex business problems into out of the functional capabilities while influencing stakeholders on process reengineering to minimize customizations.

  • Proven experience in leading teams and collaborating with stakeholders to drive digital transformation.

  • Assist the business and technology peers in the scoping and planning projects

Standards and Governance

  • Establish robust system governance practices that ensure platform quality, consistency, security and compliance meet required controls and their regular audit.

  • Actively work alongside Product and Program Management partners to manage continuous applications maturity, impact underlying data and their manifestation into other integrated applications.

  • Establish governance frameworks, SLAs/SLOs, observability frameworks, and compliance measurements.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide hands-on leadership leading development team, building and enhancing our Claims platform in a service-oriented, highly scalable environment and ensure high availability, integrity, and security.

  • Develop and manage the budget for application platforms and services, ensuring cost effective solutions and resource allocation.

  • Strong background in Salesforce managed packages and their total lifecycle management

  • Define clear KPIs and performance and operational metrics for platforms, continually measuring success and their revisions based on insights.

Review and Mentoring

  • Review, advise, and provide feedback on solutions produced within and outside the team

  • Mentor and grow other technologists within the team with appropriate skills and capabilities leveraging Salesforce technologies.

  • Lead, mentor and rebuild a team of Salesforce analysts and engineers fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Recruit and hire exceptional talent and facilitate onboarding of new team members

  • Evaluate team members performance including performance reviews

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

  • 5–7 years of related systems analysis experience.

  • Expert‑level understanding of ClaimVantage or other SaaS‑based claims and absence management platforms.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to grow and guide a team.

  • Experience working with cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.

  • Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery.

  • Experience managing third‑party vendor relationships, including platform experts and developers.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and solution‑design skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal guidance.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Forward‑thinking mindset with the ability to propose best‑practice solutions.

Ability to Travel: Up to 10%


 

The expected hiring range for this position is $113,850.00 - $151,990.00 annually for work performed in the primary location (Philadelphia, PA). This expected hiring range covers only base pay and excludes any other compensation components such as commissions or incentive awards. The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be based on several factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.


Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
