How would you contribute? 

This role is a contributing member of our Airlite - Omaha team, located in Omaha, NE. As aCustomer Support Specialist you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. The Customer Support Specialist provides transactional and operational support for customer order processing within an assigned business unit. This role supports the execution of cradle-to-grave order management activities, ensuring orders are entered accurately, scheduled appropriately, and fulfilled in alignment with manufacturing and logistics timelines.  With a keen focus on internal collaboration, this position is focused on order processing and the coordination of delivery of product based on demand signals.

  

 

Essential Duties: 

  • Supports the Senior Customer Account Specialist in managing key customer accounts, ensuring timely communication, order coordination, and overall account satisfaction.
  • Enter and process customer orders, revisions, and returns in company systems with high level of detail and accuracy.
  • Verify pricing, discounts, and contract terms based on established guidelines.
  • Communicate order status updates, shipment details, and delivery changes as needed, ensure deadlines are adhered to.
  • Coordinate with production planning, manufacturing, logistics, and sales teams to support on-time fulfillment.
  • Work closely with all members of the team, both internal and external, to ensure timely and efficient communication. 
  • Display professionalism and participate to the ongoing efforts of the team.
  • Monitor inventory and production schedules to identify and escalate potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within enterprise systems.
  • Support shipping documentation and transportation coordination as required.
  • Assist with resolving order discrepancies and administrative inquiries.
  • Follow established processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, attendance, and company standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service, order processing, logistics, or administrative support experience required; manufacturing experience preferred.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not have personnel supervisory responsibilities; however, this role includes working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:  

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hand dexterity to operate office equipment including computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office work environment is typically quiet; when visiting the production floor the noise level may be loud.
