Preferred Qualifications:



  1. Possesses or qualifies for a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Elementary Education PreK-6.

  2. Math or reading specialist degree/endorsement preferred.

  3. At least three years of teaching experience in an elementary classroom.

  4. LETRS trained preferred.

  5. Possesses knowledge and skills in the assigned instructional area.

  6. Demonstrates enthusiasm for the teaching/learning process

  7. Demonstrates the professional and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, school personnel, parents, and members of the school community.


SALARY BASED ON THE 2026-2027 TEACHER SALARY SCALE
