Gonzales Healthcare Systems has immediate openings at Sievers Medical Clinic in Gonzales, Texas for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in a clinic setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a commitment to providing quality care. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Assist physicians in providing patient care.
- Perform basic nursing duties such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and providing wound care.
- Maintain patient records and document patient care activities.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Assist in the development of clinic policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Vocational Nursing
- Licensure as Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support certification, preferred
- Certification as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
