FOOD SERVICE WORKER, PART-TIME
Job Description
The Massapequa Public Schools currently have openings for friendly, energetic and reliable food service workers to join our team. The chosen candidates will enjoy assisting children of all ages, be dedicated team-players, and passionate about helping to grow our program. Food Service Workers are responsible for preparing and serving food as part of our cafeteria programs, daily cleaning, and maintaining inventory and kitchen sanitation standards.
Work Schedule
*Part-time
*Monday - Friday for midday daily shifts of 3-4 hours.
*No nights or weekends
*Follows the Massapequa Public Schools calendar - off on school holidays
Job Qualifications *Monday - Friday for midday daily shifts of 3-4 hours.

*Ability to communicate clearly with students and other staff members
*Ability to lift up to 50lbs
*Ability to stand most of the work day
*Ability to pass a background screening by Civil Service. Fingerprinting will be necessary at employee’s own expense.
