The Senior Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of our financial operations. This position is responsible for core close and reporting activities, while also driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls across the accounting function both domestic and international.

This role is designed for someone who goes beyond transactional accounting—bringing a mindset focused on continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and cross-functional partnership. As the organization continues to scale, the Senior Accountant will help modernize workflows, enhance reporting quality, and support a best-in-class accounting environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Financial Close & Reporting

  • Own and execute month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries
  • Perform account reconciliations and proactively investigate and resolve variances
  • Prepare clear, concise financial reporting and commentary to explain account activity and key drivers
  • Reconcile intercompany balances across domestic and international entities
  • Support consolidation activities and ensure alignment across multiple legal entities
  • Deliver recurring financial reports and support ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders

Accounting Analysis & Technical Support

  • Analyze and trace transactions within ERP system to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Interpret and explain complex accounting activity using sound accounting principles
  • Conduct GAAP research and support alignment with international accounting considerations (e.g., IFRS/local statutory requirements as applicable)
  • Prepare audit-ready schedules and support both domestic and international audit processes

Process Improvement & Transformation

  • Evaluate current accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across global operations
  • Implement process enhancements and support automation initiatives
  • Partner on initiatives to improve intercompany processes, close timelines, and reporting standardization

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and international teams to improve end-to-end financial processes
  • Support cross-functional initiatives related to global expansion, entity setup, and integration efforts
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing accounting environment through knowledge sharing and best practices

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (including 2+ years in public accounting preferred)
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with exposure to international accounting standards (IFRS or local statutory reporting)
  • Experience working with multi-entity and/or international operations (intercompany, FX, consolidations)
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and drive process improvements
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a fast-paced environment
