Requirements / Qualifications

2. Graduation from High School or Equivalent
3. Contact information for three (3) Professional References: current/former supervisors/coworkers (MUST be provided on application in Professional References section) - please include email addresses
Required to be Uploaded in Attachments
1. Current DMV K4 printout upon completion of application. (no older than 30 days) / must possess Valid Class B license (see link provided under "Apply" button for DMV website)
2. Valid ADULT/PEDIATRIC First Aid and CPR Certification required: NO online courses; NO BLS (basic life support) cards, MUST include Pediatric (Child) training* OR CHP Equivalent
*can upload proof of registration in an upcoming, in-person CPR/First Aid class in lieu of card
3. School Bus Driver’s Certificate issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles
4. Current DMV Medical Certificate issued by a Health Care Professional

Preferred Qualifications
1. Resumes encouraged but not required
2. One year (1) experience in the operation of a school bus or other large motor vehicle preferred.

Salary Info
New hires outside of our district will automatically be placed on Step 1, regardless of experience.
