Located in North San Diego County, Escondido Union School District is home to 24 schools- 17 elementary schools, 1 intermediate school, 1 specialty school, and 5 middle schools- and is a provider of the California State Preschool Program. Job Summary
EUSD is offering current TK-8th grade students the opportunity to participate in a 5-day extended learning program at LR Green (TK-5) and Mission (6-8th) (*site subject to change)
Required Documents
Priority Consideration will be given to those that are available to work the duration of the program and according to the Merit Rules listed below.
Current substitutes will be eligible for selection AFTER priorities a-c are met.
Merit Rule 6.200.6
Appointment to summer school, extended school year and intersession positions shall be made in this priority:
a) Employees who have worked in the classification, have successfully met the expectations of the class, and maintained necessary licenses or other requirements of the assignment.
b) Qualified employees working in other related classifications and successfully met the expectations of those classes, and maintained necessary licenses or other requirements of the assignment.
c) Qualified employees working in non-related classifications but who meet the minimum requirements of the classification for the assignment so as to provide evidence of ability to perform in such assignment.
d) Qualified persons not currently employed by the District in a regular-status position but meet the requirements of the classification for the assignment.
e) Qualified persons not currently employed by the District but meet the requirements of the classification for the assignment.

IN-HOUSE Applications do not require you to fill out the Work History and Professional Reference Sections. You will need to enter "NA" to bypass. Supplemental questions require a response.

Salary Info
Rate of Pay: Employees will be compensated at their hourly rate or Out of Class rate where qualifying. Overtime (after 8 hours per day) will be paid at 1.5 times their regular pay rate.

A regular employee working in a higher class for which "out of class" provisions apply, shall be paid in accordance with Rule 7.300.11"
