About the Role
As Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping our procurement processes and strategies. You’ll lead the daily operations of the Purchasing Department, guiding a small team and working closely across departments to deliver results. This isn’t a senior management role, but it’s a great chance to build your leadership skills and take on more responsibility. You’ll have one person reporting to you. Your expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and ERP systems will be instrumental in helping us achieve our business goals. You’ll be empowered to make decisions, mentor your team member, and manage end-to-end procurement cycles for both stock and non-stock items.


What You’ll Do



  • Lead purchasing operations and mentor your team member to uphold high standards

  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to achieve best value and ensure compliance

  • Oversee procurement cycles, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment

  • Collaborate across departments to align procurement with business objectives

  • Prepare pricing for tenders, quotations, and proposals

  • Manage purchasing projects and support new product development with suppliers


About You



  • 5+ years’ experience in procurement (industry experience preferred)

  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills

  • Confident with ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word)

  • Experience supervising or managing others, with a collaborative approach

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
